Lae Nani is not a high rise, it is a well-maintained plantation style condominium surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and a pallatial lawn. Lae Nani has tennis courts, a heated pool and free off-street parking. There
is a long, white sand beach fronting the complex, and on occasion Hawaiian monk seals will come ashore to rest to everyone's delight. Turtles are seen year round from the shore and Humpback Whales can be seen frolicking in Hawaii's warm waters from November through May.
There is an enclosed man-made reef in the ocean making a safe area for toddlers and children to enjoy the water. If you enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, snorkeling and/or exploring tide pools, you'll find access to it all from the beach fronting the Lae Nani complex.
Lydgate State Park is just
minutes away and that has two man-made reefs for protected
swimming and snorkeling. The Coconut Plantation Marketplace
is within walking distance, where you will find a selection
of fine and casual dining, shops, and daily
hula shows.
