It is walking distance to stores and restaurants and cantilevers out over a perfect white sand beach suitable for swimming, surfing and snorkeling. There is even a small man made reef which provides a protected cove for small children. Hale Awapuhi is 15 minutes North of the Lihue airport. You can drive to Princeville which is a 30 minute drive to the North or to Poipu on the south shore which is also a 30 minute drive.
This very desirable ground floor OCEANFRONT unit is for the discriminating traveler who desires perfection. It has two bedrooms, three baths, washer/dryer and an immense fully appointed gourmet kitchen. The master bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The guest room has a Queen bed. The living room/dining room has a large comfortable sofa sleeper.
Enjoy sunsets, the full moon and whale watching from your private lanai. The living room has a wall of glass doors which pocket into one another, allowing you to open the entire wall of glass to the ocean. The covered lanai is suitable for dining and relaxing naps. Capture the glory of a full moon rise over the ocean from your lanai or watch whales breach during their annual migration to Hawaii (December - May). The daily sunrises are truly spectacular. Many turtles enjoy the cove for laying their eggs and the endangered Hawaiian Monk Seal may also be seen sunbathing on the beach nearby.
Guests are welcome to use the gas BBQ located by the pool and also the covered common area by the pool. This is ideal for additional dining or entertaining. The entire property is non-smoking.
